Jacquelyn Moss, Campus Election Engagement Project Coordinator
Jacquelyn is a graduate student at UW-Madison in secondary education. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in history from UW-Madison in May, 2016. As a student, she has enjoyed taking part in voter registration drives and encouraging students to get out and vote. In the summer of 2015, she was a voter outreach intern for the City of Madison Clerk’s office. She developed a program for teaching children about the election process by voting on their favorite superhero using official election equipment. Additionally, she worked with community centers and organizations to provide resources and information on the recent voter ID law. Through her work, she furthered her passion for making sure everyone has the knowledge and resources to vote. She is encouraged by today’s youth’s desire to learn and engage in the world around them and believes their passion can be translated into civic engagement.
