2. Become a Member. Join a national movement that almost 30 other WI colleges and universities have already joined and support your students in becoming civically engaged. Through CCWI and the national Campus Compact network, member institutions receive the training, resources, and advocacy they need to build strong surrounding communities and teach students the skills and values of democracy.

3. Donate to Us. Do you believe in the civic mission of higher education? Do you want to help advance the idea that universities should be working closely with community partners? Your donations will enable us to distribute even more valuable mini-grants to our members and obtain needed funding matches when required.

4. Support the Campus Election Engagement Project (CEEP). Help us get WI students out to vote!  CCWI hosts a statewide CEEP organizer during mid-term and presidential election years who works with our member campuses to support their voter engagement efforts. And we are expanding our efforts into non-election years as well. But you don’t need to be a CCWI member to get connected to this effort!

5. Attend Member Events. Campus Compact offers state-wide, regional, and national events that are discounted and sometimes even free for members.

Also, our members are holding great events all over WI, and they welcome additional attendees and participants. Events are typically for faculty, staff, students, and community partners. In most cases, you do not need to be a member to attend.

Check out our Events page for more details on upcoming events.
