2019 Civic Engagement Institute Call for Proposals!

The Campus Compact for Wisconsin (CCWI) Civic Engagement Institute (CEI) connects faculty, professional staff, students, and campus and community leaders interested in higher education community engagement. It offers opportunities to network and learn from one another while engaging in knowledge- and skill-building sessions and discussing important issues for Wisconsin campuses and local communities.

The 2019 CEI will be graciously hosted by Alverno College in Milwaukee, WI and will take place Thursday, March 21 and Friday, March 22. Registration and more details will be updated on our website in January 2019: https://wicampuscompact.org/events/civic-engagement-institute/

We are currently seeking presentation proposals from CCWI member institutions (faculty, staff, and students), as well as community partners. Presentation sessions will take place the morning of Friday, March 22, 2019. Sessions will be 45 min. in length. Unless requested otherwise, sessions will include two 15 min. presentations, followed by 15 min. for shared discussion and questions. Presentations should focus on sharing research, program models, best practices, or new ideas. Proposals are due February 8, 2019 by 11:59 P.M. Please use this form to submit your proposal.

Campus Compact staff will review all proposals and notify presenters of their acceptance by the end of February 2019.
